Wheelchair  Basketball  SA  competition  turnaround  strategy  has  been  in  the  making  for  the  past  four  years   and  has  placed  emphasis  on  structuring  Club  Basketball  to  ensure  grass-root  development,  but  also   ensuring  that  this  foundation  strengthens  provincial  structures  in  providing  stronger  clubs  represented  in   the  Supersport Wheelchair Basketball Series.

Unfortunately,  the  financial  support  received  from  Provincial  Government  continues  to  dwindle  and  is   erratic  at  best,  thus  impacting  negatively  on  the  standard  and  frequency  of  Provincial  competitions  as   provided  by  WBSA  and  therefore  the  emphasis  on  club  development.
